Until Dawn
Until Dawn is a horror game that has a linear story line, however what makes this game different to others is that you can choose and ultimately decide how the game ends and who dies and who doesn't. This means your decisions even from the very start of the game can have a butterfly effect, changing the ending of the game. One of the reasons why this game is so good is because the characters in the game are all developed so we begin to love and hate some characters which can help persuade you in deciding whether or not you want save some ones life in risk of another character dying.
However despite having a great story there is a downside which is that you can go back to a previous checkpoint and do that part of the storyline over again which I think is a shame because that means that you don't have to really think about your decisions as you can just redo that situation again.
